Contracts#
Vogons are the galaxy's most bureaucratic beings. Fill out a form, sign it, produce three copies — that's all their invention. We do the exact opposite: your contracts are digital, your signature is a few clicks, and the terms are transparent. No triplicate forms, no Vogon poetry.
Contract List#
The My Contracts page shows all your contracts. Four stat cards at the top give you a quick overview:
| Card | Description |
|---|---|
| Awaiting Signature | Contracts waiting for your signature |
| Active | Contracts currently in force |
| Expired | Contracts past their end date |
| Terminated | Contracts that have been ended |
If any contracts need your signature, a highlighted section appears at the top of the page with a direct signing link. You'll also see an orange badge next to Contracts in the left sidebar.
Contract Statuses#
Every contract goes through a lifecycle:
| Status | Color | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Gray | Contract is being prepared |
| Awaiting Signature | Yellow | Needs your signature |
| Customer Signed | Blue | You've signed, awaiting VeriTeknik signature |
| Fully Signed | Purple | Both parties signed, activation pending |
| Active | Green | Currently in force |
| Expired | Orange | End date has passed |
| Terminated | Red | Contract has been ended |
Contract Details#
Each contract card shows:
- Contract number — e.g.
SZL-2026-A1B2C3 - Auto-renewal badge (if enabled)
- Monthly amount and yearly total
- Start and end dates
- Status message — e.g. "This contract awaits your signature" or "Contract is active"
Click the button to view or sign the contract.
Signing a Contract#
When you purchase a new service (VPS, GSLB, domain, etc.), your contract is created automatically. Contracts requiring your signature are notified via email and visible in your dashboard.
Signing Page#
The signing page shows:
Contract information:
- Contract number and status
- Customer and company details
- Contract period (start — end)
- Monthly and yearly amounts
Contract items:
Each service you've purchased is listed as a separate line item: name, quantity, unit price, tax rate, and billing type (monthly or one-time).
Attachments:
Your contract is automatically generated as a PDF. Use View to open it in your browser or Download to save it to your computer.
Signature Methods#
Choose one of three methods:
-
Hand-drawn — sign directly on screen with your mouse or finger. Use Clear to start over.
-
Typed — type your full name and a cursive-style preview is generated.
-
Checkbox — the simplest method. Check "I have read and accept the contract terms."
When your signature is ready, a green notification appears. Click Sign and Submit Contract to complete the process.
Signature security
Your signature is stored in an immutable audit trail along with your IP address, date, and time. These records are legally valid. Even Deep Thought can't alter them — which is a good thing.
After Signing#
Once you sign, the contract status becomes "Customer Signed." When the VeriTeknik team signs, the contract becomes active. You'll receive email notifications throughout the process.
Contract Terms#
You can review contract terms before signing. During service purchase, two key documents are linked:
- Service Agreement — general service terms, obligations of both parties
- SLA Terms — service level guarantees, support response times, uptime commitments
These documents are always available in their current versions.
Automatic Contract Creation#
When you purchase a service like VPS, GSLB, or a domain, your contract is created automatically:
- You confirm your order
- The system prepares the contract and adds the relevant service items
- PDF documents are generated automatically
- A signing link is sent to you
- Once you sign, the contract becomes active
All your services are grouped under a single contract. When you add a new service, it's added as a line item to your existing contract.
Auto-renewal
Contracts are set to auto-renew by default. When the term expires, the contract renews and your service continues without interruption. If you'd like to disable auto-renewal, contact our support team.
